Equity Investment is occasionally required as there is not enough funding in the lending market. There are investors that are happy to consider the higher risks for a greater return, whether that be an agreed coupon or a profit share.

Joint Venture Funding

Joint Venture Funding is available to those developers that are restricted by the number or scale of projects they can have running at anyone one time, due to the level of company cashflow. There are various ways these can be structured depending on the parties involved but can be sourced for up to 100% of costs depending on the size of the project and borrower track record. Usually, the funder provides the funding whilst the developer provides the opportunity and the expertise. We have considerable experience of joint venture funding both as lender and principal.
